Therapeutic Yoga for different aliments

We believe that yoga can benefit every single person. No matter your shape, age, or gender.

Back pain

Back pain can have causes that aren't due to underlying disease. Examples include overuse such as working out or lifting too much, prolonged sitting and lying down, sleeping in an uncomfortable position or wearing a poorly fitting backpack.

Cervical Pain

Cervical spondylosis or cervical osteoarthritis is a physical condition caused by the wear and tear of bones and cartilage in the neck (cervical vertebra) region. This degeneration of the bones and cartilage causes chronic neck pain and can disrupt simple day-to-day activities.

Arthritis

Arthritis is the swelling and tenderness of one or more joints. The main symptoms of arthritis are joint pain and stiffness, which typically worsen with age. The most common types of arthritis are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Hypertension

Hypertension (high blood pressure) is when the pressure in your blood vessels is too high (140/90 mmHg or higher). It is common but can be serious if not treated. People with high blood pressure may not feel symptoms. The only way to know is to get your blood pressure checked.

Diabetes

Diabetes is a chronic (long-lasting) health condition that affects how your body turns food into energy. Your body breaks down most of the food you eat into sugar (glucose) and releases it into your bloodstream. When your blood sugar goes up, it signals your pancreas to release insulin.

Anxiety and Depression

Anxiety disorders often go hand in hand with depression. People who have anxiety disorders struggle with intense and uncontrollable feelings of anxiety, fear, worry, and/or panic. These feelings can interfere with daily activities and may last for a long time.

Thyroid

Your thyroid is a small, butterfly-shaped gland in the front of your neck. It makes hormones that control the way the body uses energy. These hormones affect nearly every organ in your body and control many of your body's most important functions. Hyperthyroidism, which happens when your thyroid gland makes more thyroid hormones than your body needs Hypothyroidism, which happens when your thyroid gland does not make enough thyroid hormones.

Migraine

A migraine is a headache that can cause severe throbbing pain or a pulsing sensation, usually on one side of the head. It's often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound.

Knee Pain

Knee pain can have causes that aren't due to underlying disease. Examples include heavy physical activity, lack of use, injuries such as sprains or strains, sitting in a constrained area or sitting on knees for a prolonged period.

Hello Gulshanji's, We enjoyed your Thursday class with a lot of standing up asanas. As a suggestion we would like to do more standing up asanas and exercises, and including a child pose rest position between some of the exercises. Your Friday pranik exercises were great for the end of the week. Stay well and safe.
